Sunday nights are for TV

At my house anyway.

We love The Walking Dead and Dexter.  They both come on at the same time and we often have trouble deciding which to watch first! Also, am I alone in being slightly depressed because tonight is the mid season finale of The Walking Dead? :/ Lamesauce.

But speaking of Dexter, I wanted to share this portrait I drew of him last year.  This is the most recent portrait I’ve drawn in quite some time, which kinda sucks because drawing is something I really enjoy doing.  Lately though, it’s just been hard to focus and put any heart into it.  I don’t bother picking up a pencil if I know I won’t have the patience to pay attention the minute details.  I don’t want my drawings to be lackluster.

I’m proud of this one though.

What are some of your favorite TV shows?

(Also, remember to check out my Q&A post!  You’re welcome to ask me any question(s) you want in the comments!)

Love Dexter – LOVE. IT. (awesome picture, too – sigh, I don’t draw enough, or ever, anymore either). I’m almost always brought to tears while watching Modern Family. We don’t have cable though (the horror!) so Hulu and Netflix are my friends.

I really like both those shows too! And I totally agree with Danielle about laughing so hard that I cry sometimes when I watch Modern Family. Comedy-wise, I also like The Office, Community, Raising Hope and The Middle!

    • Oh yes, The Office is another one of my faves! I haven’t kept up with it as much as I’d like though, but I’ve thought about sitting down one day and starting with season 1 on Netflix.

That’s a great portrait, you’re good 😀 To bad I’ve never watched Dexter, it seems like an interesting show.
I too love The Walking Dead, but I’m getting so annoyed at the fact that my country is always a few episodes behind the US. >_<

  4. that’s an awesome portrait! i can barely draw a stick figure 😦

i have never seen Walking Dead, but the guy who has been writing the novel adaptations to the graphic novel and TV show came in and did a speaking to my fiction writing class. He was pretty cool 🙂

for shows, i love Work of Art, Top Chef, Parenthood, the New Girl, and Biggest Loser 🙂

    • Thank you! 😀

Wow, that is really cool! I would have loved to hear him speak.

Ah, Biggest Loser. I used to love it. I tried watching this season, but without Jillian it just wasn’t the same for me. I guess I’m more of a fan of hers than I thought. 🙂

My favorite these days is actually on Sundays, so I was expecting to see it here, but it is pretty new. Once Upon a Time. I’m completely in love! I’ve heard so many people talking about Walking Dead that I’m thinking I should really check it out sometime soon. I don’t get showtime and so I usually wait to catch up on Dexter when the season is over and then have a big Dexter binge.

WHOA!! That is such an amazing portrait of Dexter 🙂 I love it. Dexter is awesome and I have to see it every week. I have never watched the Walking Dead so it’s an easy choice for me LOL. 🙂
